Great stuff Michael...its neat, goes along right where my Father God has me these days, continually hearing the Spirit raise the question with me, "So, what would you really like to do?" Its as if the whole world of possibilities & feedom is in front of me in answering the question. Still walking in it & expressing my heart to Father God in it as well. Your blog prompted it even more...it also reminded me of my favorite commercial that has captivated my heart for the past two years or so...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZMZoy3rrlM , thanks Michael!

That book is in my personal "Top 5" ever read. We need to be challenged and discipled to think like a Kingdom citizen. I also enjoyed reading your blog on dreaming again. If we can't see bigger, we will never get off the couch. Thanks, Mike.

I've spent a lot of time and wasted energy grieving over the loss of two family members who decided I wasn't worth their time because I didn't live up to their expectations. No more. It's been one of the toughest challenges of my life to let go of those relationships, but I'm getting there. I am who I am, and God doesn't make mistakes.

Wow, Mike, you are on a roll. ..'the expectation that you have to do everything to be liked'....have you been reading my mail??! I just had a conversation pertaining to that the other day with my husband..'but what if 'they' think this,or that?' He said..WHO CARES?! You are right, it is painful, but living in authenticity is so worth it.Thanks for this post..

I think at one point pleasing people to gain acceptance became an art for me. I realize now that it made me a splintered person or as my good friend calls it "a Chameleon". It lead me into many unhealthy relationships, addictions and destructive behaviors. Letting go of unhealthy people, unhealthy behaviors and being able to say a healthy no is tough, but it has to happen. I think the toughest part is trying to recover what was lost (self) and figuring out who God intends me to be. It has and is taking a lot of work to for me become an intergrated whole person. For me it took finding the right community and surrender. Starting to find my own voice.....priceless.
